Afghanistan Earthquake: A deep tremor measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale.

A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Hindu Kush mountainous region of Afghanistan today. The German Research Centre for Geosciences recorded the earthquake at a depth of 79 kilometers (approximately 49 miles) below the surface. As of now, no damage or injuries have been reported as a result of the seismic activity.
