World leaders extend congratulations to the Saudi leadership on the Founding Day.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is receiving a wave of congratulatory telegrams from leaders and princes across the globe, in celebration of Foundation Day. This national occasion commemorates the establishment of the Saudi state by Imam Muhammad bin Saud three centuries ago, who laid the cornerstone for a political entity characterized by unity, stability, and prosperity, establishing Diriyah as the capital of the First Saudi State.

Among those expressing their congratulations, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, sent two telegrams to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, carrying sincere congratulations on the occasion of Foundation Day.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, also sent a congratulatory telegram to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, expressing his best wishes for good health and happiness, and for the Saudi people to achieve further progress and prosperity under wise leadership. His Majesty praised the civilizational and comprehensive developmental achievements made by the Kingdom, which have strengthened its position regionally and internationally. He affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries and Bahrain’s aspiration to continue strengthening and developing them. He also sent congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in turn, sent similar congratulatory telegrams to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, expressing his sincere congratulations on this national occasion.
