Kingdom Airport: Emergency plans to receive pilgrims during Ramadan.

Saudi airport operator Matarat Holding has mobilized all operational capabilities at airports across the Kingdom as part of intensive preparations to accommodate the anticipated influx of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and travelers during the holy month of Ramadan and the peak Umrah season of 1447 AH. These measures are part of a continuous effort to improve operational quality and provide a comfortable travel experience around the clock.

Readiness plans focus on increasing on-site supervision, improving passenger flow organization within terminals, and activating and developing modern technologies and e-services to expedite procedures and reduce waiting times.

Matarat Holding, responsible for the operation and management of 27 airports through its subsidiaries throughout the Kingdom, stated that these procedures reflect its commitment to providing the highest levels of security and safety, activating emergency plans, and enhancing support services. The plans also include developing coordination and communication mechanisms, closely monitoring workflow, and rapidly addressing any emergencies or obstacles to ensure operational continuity and enhance service levels.

The Holding continues to implement developmental and operational initiatives aimed at updating airport infrastructure and improving services provided, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and supporting the growing travel movement.
