Dust storms choke 7 regions.. and warnings of strong winds.

The National Center of Meteorology has forecast continued unsettled weather across large parts of the Kingdom today, Friday. Warnings include the regions of Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, Hail, Al-Qassim, and Madinah, extending to parts of Makkah and Tabuk, with strong winds and dust storms.

In other coastal areas, the Center has warned of the potential for fog formation overnight and in the early morning hours along the coasts of Makkah and the Eastern Province.

Regarding the Red Sea, northwesterly to northerly surface winds are expected to blow at speeds between 25 and 50 kilometers per hour over the northern and central parts. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly over the southern part at speeds of 12-35 kilometers per hour, with the possibility of reaching 45 kilometers per hour near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait. Wave heights will range between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in the northern and central parts, and between 0.5 and 1.5 meters in the southern part, potentially reaching 2 meters near Bab al-Mandeb. Sea conditions are described as moderate to rough in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate in the southern part.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to southeasterly surface winds will prevail, shifting to northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts in the afternoon, and northeasterly to northwesterly in the southern part, at speeds ranging between 10 and 28 kilometers per hour. Wave heights are expected to range between 0.5 and 1 meter, with sea conditions described as light.
