Yassine Bounou, Al-Hilal goalkeeper, has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Argentinian side River Plate, reaffirming his full commitment to his contract with the Saudi club and his desire to continue achieving success.

While previously admitting his future ambition to play in the Argentinian league, specifically in 2025, and expressing his admiration for River Plate, Bounou confirmed in an interview with the "Ezzequiel" YouTube channel that his current priority is his career with Al-Hilal, with whom he is contracted until 2028. He expressed his happiness in Saudi Arabia and his ambition to win more titles.

Bounou also revealed details of advanced negotiations with Bayern Munich before joining Al-Hilal, explaining that the deal did not materialize due to some procedural delays, prompting him to accept Al-Hilal’s offer, which he considered an ideal opportunity for stability and success.

The Moroccan goalkeeper praised Brazilian star Neymar, describing him as an amazing player, despite acknowledging he was not at his best during his time with Al-Hilal.
