Al-Widad ignites Ramadan by reviving the hope of orphans.

With the start of Ramadan, the Al-Widad Association for Orphan Care has launched its annual initiative for this year, titled "With Your Hand, You Complete an Orphan’s Joy,” embodying its commitment to providing a decent and stable life for orphaned children through its sponsorship program.

Mr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Najjar, the Association’s Corporate Communications Manager, indicated that this campaign reflects a firm belief in the importance of community solidarity in making a real difference in the lives of these children, stressing that true giving is shown by allowing sponsored orphans to share the joy of Ramadan with their families, through practicing religious rituals such as Taraweeh prayers, fasting, and reciting the Quran, in an atmosphere of love and care. He added that this is the goal the Association has pursued since its founding: to give orphans opportunities to live authentic human experiences.

Al-Najjar explained that the campaign aims to reach as many people as possible through various media outlets and social media platforms, as well as through its presence in shopping centers and the participation of influencers and entities concerned with child and family affairs.

Al-Najjar affirmed that supporting an orphan is not merely financial expenditure, but an investment in their future, starting from the sponsorship and psychological and educational rehabilitation process, up to empowering them to become active members of society. He added that your donations create a lasting impact that accompanies them throughout their lives.
